Tim currently records and tours extensively with GA-20, a three-time Billboard #1 blues trio as well as leading two of his own projects: Tim Carman & The Street 45s—a world-groove inspired funk band—and the Tim Carman Trio—a vintage organ jazz trio. He is also a member of the bands Parlor Greens and Canyon Lights. As an educator, he is the author of 5 books including the highly regarded Haynes-ISM & Philly-ISM methods. His forthcoming book is entitled “The Shuffle Book - The Language, Lineage and Art of Shuffle Drumming” which is the first volume of this series.
