Tim Carman has built a formidable studio résumé as a versatile drummer, both as leader and sideman, with acts such as Parlor Greens, Canyon Lights, GA-20, and AJ Fullerton. He has performed on over 75 commercially released recordings across blues, jazz, soul, and roots music.

While living in Massachusetts, his session work earned him a nomination for Session Musician of the Year (2021) from the Boston Music Awards, underscoring his reputation as a drummer who brings history, feel, and song-first instincts to any recording session. As the backbone of GA-20 — the Boston-based blues trio signed to Colemine Records — for five years, Tim helped the band achieve the rare feat of reaching #1 on the Billboard Blues Albums chart three consecutive times, with releases in 2020, 2021, and 2022 each debuting at the top spot.

Since moving to Nashville, Carman has worked with Zach Allen - a multiple Grammy-winning engineer and producer whose credits include Buddy Guy, Keb' Mo', and Christone "Kingfish" Ingram - Vance Powell - the six-time Grammy-winning producer known for his work with Chris Stapleton and Jack White — and Michael Dumas — engineer and producer for Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, Shanai Twain, and more.
